About Rainshadow Connections Woodworking
A passion for wood and woodworking has been central to me all my life. I recently found out that woodworking is in my family tree going back at least four generations, so I must have sawdust in my blood. For a very long time I was not able to do much “hands on” in the shop as I had a small industrial sales rep business with employees and a wife with two great children at home. Several years ago, the children finished college. I now enjoy working in my shop. For over 40 years I have studied woodworking techniques. As a result, the learning curve in the shop has come faster than expected. My work has been accepted and appreciated in every juried venue to which I have applied, including Pike Place Market (a Seattle icon), the Edmonds Arts Festival, Issaquah Salmon Days, Redmond’s So Bazaar, Sequim Lavender Festival and Amazon Handmade. From my website, Amazon and ETSY, I have shipped my work to every corner of the country, Canada and to the UK.
